Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of TapFirst. By using the service, you agree to them.
Last updated: August 26, 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
TapFirst is operated by Regina Shaw (the "Seller", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you enter into a contract with Regina Shaw and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, or that you have authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you use the service.
2. The service
TapFirst is a self-reflection and wellness tool offering voice-guided EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping sessions, lessons, and related content for personal and workplace use. TapFirst is not therapy, medical care, or a substitute for professional mental-health support. AI-generated guidance may be inaccurate and is not suitable as professional advice of any kind.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, keep it updated, and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must not misuse the service, including by:
- Using it for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- Infringing intellectual-property rights;
- Interfering with security — introducing malware, probing, scraping, or attempting to circumvent technical limits;
- Reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the service;
- Using AI features to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or malware, or to attempt to jailbreak the models.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan.
4. AI-generated content
Guided sessions are generated by AI in response to what you share. You are responsible for your inputs, for having the rights to any content you provide, for how you use outputs, and for verifying anything that matters before acting on it. You retain rights to your inputs; you may use outputs for your personal or internal business use. We may moderate content — removing or restricting content, filtering outputs, or suspending accounts — where required to keep the service safe and lawful. Rights holders may contact us to report infringement; repeated infringement leads to termination.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property — software, design, documentation, and branding. You grant us a limited license to host and process content you submit solely to provide the service to you.
6. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds
Paid plans (monthly and yearly) include a 7-day free trial and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
7. Service level and warranties
We work hard to keep TapFirst available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. When access ends, your account data is retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised as described in our Privacy Notice.
10. General
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the Seller's jurisdiction, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Questions about these terms: use the support contact shown at checkout or on your Paddle receipt.
