Practising safely
When to stop or take a break
Staying in control of your own session.
By the end of this lessonRecognise your own stop signals and use them.
You are always in control. You can stop mid-sentence, mid-point, mid-round, for any reason. Nothing is left unfinished in a dangerous way.
Stop and ground if you feel flooded, numb, dizzy, dissociated, or if a memory pulls you in rather than you looking at it. Ground Me will walk you through breath and orientation.
Tapping is not the right tool for everything. Ongoing trauma symptoms, self-harm or suicidal thoughts, or feeling unsafe are reasons to contact a qualified professional or crisis service where you live.
PAUSE, GROUND ME and STOP SESSION are available in every guided round.
