Your first rounds
Re-rating after tapping
The step most people skip.
By the end of this lessonRe-rate accurately and decide whether to run another round.
Bring the same target back to mind — the same words, the same picture — and rate it again. Same scale, same honesty.
Don't compare to what you hoped for. Compare to the number you started with. A move from 8 to 6 is a real move.
If it's above about 2, run another round using the number that's left: 'Even though I still have some of this dread…'. If it's at 0–1, test it (Level 2) or stop.
- Same target, same words.
- 'Remaining' language in round two.
- Two or three rounds is normal.
